If a project raises a floor to meet an elevation requirement, everything above it moves: toe-kick heights, counter height relative to window sills, the amount of headroom for uppers, and sometimes whether a standard 30-inch upper fits under a window run at all. That has to be resolved in the drawings, because a cabinet order is not something you adjust after delivery.

The second thing worth planning for is that many Orleans kitchens serve two very different modes: a quiet house for nine months and a full one in July. Kitchens that work well in both usually have a second prep zone or a bar sink somewhere out of the main triangle, and considerably more dry storage than a year-round household alone would need.
