Design Services for Eastham Homeowners

Eastham is home. Our design office and showroom at 4250 State Highway in North Eastham, next to Ace Hardware, has been serving this town for over 30 years, and being local means we already know the houses. We have designed kitchens and baths from First Encounter Beach to Rock Harbor, out along Nauset Light Beach Road, through the campground neighborhoods, and up into North Eastham.

Eastham's housing stock is distinctive. A great many homes here started as modest summer cottages or 1950s and 1960s ranches that were winterized and added onto over the decades. That history shows up in the framing: ceilings that drop where an addition meets the original box, chases that were never meant to be permanent, and kitchens that ended up in the middle of the floor plan instead of on an outside wall. Design here is often about correcting that history, not just replacing cabinets.

A large part of town borders or falls within the Cape Cod National Seashore, and lot coverage, septic capacity, and setbacks shape what is realistic long before cabinetry is chosen. Because we live and work in Eastham, a site visit is easy, selections happen in a showroom you can reach in five minutes, and Vern Hatt is on the job rather than at the other end of a phone. A free visit to your home to talk through how you use the room, what is not working, and what the budget needs to be.

Measure & Survey

We take full field measurements, note where the plumbing, venting, and structure actually are, and photograph the existing conditions.

Layout & Concept

A scaled floor plan and elevations, usually with two or three options so you can compare how each one lives.

Selections

Cabinet line, door style, finish, countertop, hardware, and fixtures, chosen in the showroom against real samples.

3D Renderings

Renderings of the approved plan so you can see the finished room, then a final cabinet specification for ordering.

🍂 New for Fall 2026: Haven Sage Cabinets

Sage green has moved from accent island to full kitchen, and the Haven Sage line is now on display in our North Eastham showroom. It reads especially well in Cape houses with a lot of natural light and white trim, and it pairs cleanly with both honed quartz and warm wood floors. Worth seeing in person — greens are notoriously hard to judge from a photo.

Massachusetts now allows accessory dwelling units by right in single-family zoning districts, and Cape Cod towns are seeing steady interest. Where exactly is your Eastham showroom?

Unit #7, 4250 State Highway (Route 6) in North Eastham, next to Ace Hardware. Cabinets, vanities, door samples, and countertop samples are all on display. Weekdays 8:00 to 5:00, Saturdays by appointment.

Can you design around an existing Eastham addition that does not line up?

That is most of what we do here. Measured drawings pick up the out-of-square walls and ceiling drops, and custom fillers and end panels absorb the difference so the finished run looks intentional.

Do I need town approvals for a kitchen or bath redesign in Eastham?

A straight cabinet-and-countertop replacement usually does not. Moving plumbing, altering structure, or adding a bathroom generally does, and may involve septic review. We flag which category your project falls into during the first consultation.
